Week 12B Business Specific Tools

 I visited Dino Richmond's blog about what tools would be good for the Queen Bee Business.  I commented and agreed that linkedin isn't the appropriate place.  Yelp and Google are good for promoting this business.  I also suggested TikTok.  I love the idea of seeing some content about Bees that's educational, entertaining and also is great to promote this business.

I visited and commented on Nicole Lozano's blog, promoting her artistic skills on Artistically Ethereal.  I agree with her that live streaming making art is a great tool.  Twitch and TikTok are great platforms for this.  I don't have much experience with Twitch but with TikTok it would be a great place for her to go live or even make videos of her making artwork while talking about herself or telling a story about something she experienced.  It's along the lines of "Get ready with me" on TikTOk where creators will do their makeup while telling a funny story like the worst date they've ever been on, or the time they got fired from a job.  It's interesting to hear the story and at the same time you realize the person is also an amazing artist and want to check out more of their work.  This is a great place to promote her artwork and skills as an artist.

I went to Luis Godinez' blog and commented.  His business is Godinez Gym.  His experience was inspiring because he joined Facebook groups about creating content and knowing how to use ISO and aperture in photography. The group had in person meet ups which he attended and got to learn the new skills hands on and made new friends in the process.  It is so great because those skills improved his business on social media.  This is something I will definitely be interested to try for myself.  I love the idea of meet ups to get the connection and skills.

I went to Denise Allen's blog and commented.  She will be utilizing LinkedIn and google for her business because she has personal and professional connections to help utilize those platforms.  Linking blogger to her google profile for her business is a great idea.  What I liked most was her idea of creating a Youtube and posting tutorials and training videos.  I love content that teaches people things.  I think this will bring a connection to her customers by providing information to them and will bring business from people who originally may have been there to learn something but now could use the help of her business.
