Week 1A: My Blog Theme
I chose my blog theme “A day in the life” because that is the type of blog I would like to do and I just so happened to like the layout. I scrolled through all the others and I chose my theme page because it felt easy on my eyes. The color was nice and it felt good to look at.
I opened the advanced adjustments and played with the colors. I chose a nice purple, but then I didn’t like the way it looked so I reset the colors to the original theme. I didn’t want to complicate the look because I chose my theme for its simplicity. I also looked through the different photos for the background thinking I would change it. Nothing stood out to me while scrolling through all the photos. The original one went with my theme of a day in the life because it looks like a peaceful setting. Even though a day in my life isn’t exactly always peaceful, I hope to stay peaceful in the mind which is what this photo made me feel.
I would make a “day in the life” blog and use it like a diary to write about my experience raising a child with a disability. I’d want it to be a place where I could write authentically and be open and share my experiences, good and bad, in hopes that it could help someone going through similar experiences.
Hi Tiffany, the layout looks great. I love he colors they complement the photo you chose. It gives me a sense of a photographer/boutique. It's simple but stylish also.
ReplyDeleteHey Tiffany! You made the right choices with color. I think it's kind of calming and peaceful myself. I hope the theme continues to make you feel open
ReplyDeleteHi Tiffany, I really like your background. It caught my eye right away and saw simplicity and peace. Those are my colors, however, somehow, I tend to add Blue in it. Just know you are a superhero, raising a child with disabilities, and attending classes. Not an easy task. Stay focus and continue to walk in that peace.
